As we say our bittersweet goodbyes to summer, we know there is much to look forward to this fall and winter at Superior Farms! We welcome you for our unique, festive celebrations over the coming months.

October brings warm, autumnal colours to the farm and a few spooktacular workshops as well! Our most popular workshop of the year, Fairytale Pumpkin Succulents, runs October 1, 3, 7, 14, and 15 this year, with day and evening time slots to choose from. We provide vibrant green succulents, natural moss, and of course, real pumpkins to get everyone into the festive spirit.
Our host will also instruct attendees on how to create and care for their unique centerpiece.

On October 14 and 15, Superior Farms is excited to partner with local farms Rusted Rake and Springford Farm for the first ever Fall Farm Hop! As a way of bringing awareness to nature’s bounty that is grown and harvested around Nanaimo and Nanoose Bay, visitors will ‘hop’ from farm to farm over the weekend, enjoying special events and delightful products!

Autumn is also the time of year we receive many bookings for corporate events, family gatherings, Christmas parties, and other private group activities. This fall we are thrilled to be launching a new platform on our website that offers more for group parties than ever before. With workshops, games, food and beverage service, time with our friendly miniature animals, and plenty of fun for both children and adults, Superior Farms is sure to provide a farm-tastic experience for your group!

As we move into the winter season, we are excited to host a Christmas Brass Concert and Ice Skating Party on November 25th! Two of our greenhouses will turn into a Winter Wonderland, with a brass band performing holiday favourites, our ice rink open for skating, hot chocolate and coffee service, Christmas gift shopping, and more! We also look forward to the many Winter Workshops happening throughout the season.
