The Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated return of the Commercial Street Night Market.

Proudly presented by title sponsor Coastal Community Credit Union, this free weekly event transforms Downtown Nanaimo into a vibrant celebration of local talent, food, music, and community spirit.

Now a beloved summer tradition, the Commercial Street Night Market is more than just a market—it’s an experience. With over 150 vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities, the market offers something for everyone and showcases the heart and soul of Nanaimo.

Food lovers will enjoy a diverse selection of food trucks serving everything from gourmet tacos to handmade sweets and cool summer treats. Come hungry and explore the flavours of the Island!

Live music sets the tone each evening with talented local performers bringing energy and rhythm to the streets. From smooth jazz to upbeat folk, the musical backdrop adds a festive touch to every visit.

Families will find plenty to enjoy in the dedicated Kids Zone, complete with games, face painting, and crafts—creating the perfect Thursday night outing for all ages.

Support for local artisans and businesses is at the core of the Night Market. Guests can browse handmade goods, locally-grown produce, home décor, and unique gifts. Downtown merchants also remain open late, adding even more opportunities to shop and connect.
