The arrival of Spring brings warmth and cheer, as flowers open to the sun ready for the new season. There is no better place to experience the splendours of Spring than Superior Farms in upper Lantzville. Set against the backdrop of mountains and marshland, Superior Farms is a bee-friendly grower of retail and wholesale plants, a farmhouse gift shop, special events venue, and home to the Wilson family and their many miniature animals.

The Wilsons and staff welcome you to relax amongst the flowers, explore nature and meet over 100 new furry friends including spring babies Gemma the Donkey and Little Bruce the Miniature Calf. Along with the joys of baby animals and a unique shopping experience, the farm is host to concerts, events, kids camps, weddings, private parties, and agricultural workshops for all ages.

Their heated indoor Greenhouse Venue hosts up to 150 people, and is transformed by the farm’s floral and decor team into an elegant space for weddings, parties, celebrations, and the annual Fall Harvest Dinner. Their charming outdoor Farmyard Venue is where guests can enjoy birthday parties and casual gatherings with mini donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs and more.

If you have a green thumb, sign up for Superior Farms’ seasonal workshops including hanging baskets, pumpkin succulents, wreaths, and more which blend hands-on crafting with expert guidance, allowing attendees to learn the art of floral design.

From June to August, Superior Farms hosts their annual Lawn Chair Summer Concert Series, featuring 4 magical nights of music under the stars with some of Canada’s top artists. Enjoy dinner and sweets from local food trucks, snuggle with mini animals, and dance the night away at the breathtaking mainstage area. All ages welcome.

Coming in July is the Kids Summer Farm Camp, with 3 new weekly themes being offered from July 2 to August 9. Children ages 6-13 will make friends outdoors, deepen their relationships with animals and nature, and engage in adventures like beekeeping, observing wildlife, the onsite beaver dam, and learning about sustainable practices.
