Ad Submission Information
Nanaimo / Voyager Magazine prints over 10,000 copies per month in COLOUR.
We distribute to homes and businesses in Nanaimo and to businesses Island-wide via Canada Post. We directly deliver to Nanaimo realtors and rack on BC Ferries, Nanaimo & Victoria airports, waterfront and local shopping, medical and community centres. It is available at coffee shops up and down the Island, supermarkets and libraries. We greet cruise ship passengers and service sea plane and Helijet waiting rooms in Nanaimo, Victoria and Vancouver.
Our Island distribution includes direct post and personal deliveries to businesses and tourist locations, from the Cowichan Valley, with a concentration in the mid-Island, to the Comox Valley. We have an online magazine which is read locally, nationally and internationally. Each advertisement / advertorial is hyperlinked to the advertiser’s website.
Ad Submission Deadline
Ad changes and bookings must be in by the 15th of each month. If you cannot meet this deadline, please contact us to see if alternate arrangements can be made.

Ad Specs:
- Magazine trim size is 8.25″ X 10.5″.
- Full bleed is permitted
- Printed on high-speed, cold-set web.
- Screen is 100 lines per inch.
- Pre-press on Macintosh platform
Finished Ad Materials Accepted:
- Illustrator (save as 8.0) or other .eps files, with fonts saved as outlines/curves.
- Quark 3.32 with fonts.
- Press-optimized PDF’s with all fonts embedded.
- JPEG or TIFF files may not appear as you wish with loss of definition and ‘fuzzy’ fonts.
- If you provide image files, ensure they are 200 dpi at the final size to be used.
Payment options:
We accept cheques, Visa, Mastercard and American Express payments, and direct transfers can be sent to nanaimomagazine@shaw.ca. No cash please.
