When planning your summer holidays this year, make sure to include a trip to the Farm Table Inn. The Inn boasts a spacious and cozy two room Bed and Breakfast, farm to table dining in the restaurant and outside patio, a Farm where they raise pigs, chickens, ducks and sheep and an on-site store where they sell oven ready meals and more.

Owner Evelyn Koops says the one thing she loves about her Inn is the property. “When you drive up our driveway, it is so pretty, especially at night with all the pretty lights. We also have a wonderful garden space which we have been working on over the years – it is going to be absolutely magnificent this Summer! This means we will have more options for fresh vegetables that we can utilize in the kitchen or sell in our farm store.”

When the pandemic hit and everything shut down, her and her partner George Gates made to decision to pivot. Evelyn says “George and I spent many nights in our garden in the Spring of 2020, having beers and thinking what are we going to do? Our business plan had always included a farm store so…we took the time to open that! And what a success that has been!”

The Farm Store offers house-made oven ready meals such as lasagnas, cabbage rolls, pot pies and much more! Some of their products are also available to purchase on line through the Cowichan Milk Company and the Cow-op.

The dining room is open Thursday to Saturday nights so make sure to book your B and B stay when it is open. Or book a weekend getaway at their next Winemakers Dinner set for early June with Zanatta wineries.
